- Dr.
Harlan F. Latham, dear friend of Gerda Bennett,
died this summer on June
26, 2007. Dr. Latham served as family dentist to generations of
Greenfield area residents. A memorial service was held at Second
Congregational Church on September 8th.
- Bertha
Welcome Campbell, an active
member of St. Andrew's, died August
15, 2007. This past summer, Bertha was the second person to be
awarded
the St. Andrew's Cross for outstanding service to her church. She
served
as treasurer, among several other offices, for many years.
- Olivia
Russell was shown in the October
12th issue of The Recorder, learning an Abenaki song from a historical
re-enactor at Northfield Elementary School.
