services and nursing homes.

The Welcome Committee - greets and visits newcomers
to the parish.

Christian Education and Formation– meets to discuss
and plan education activities and opportunities in the parish.

The Church School – Children attend worship at 9:45 am
on Sunday mornings, then go into school following at the peace around
10:30
am; four year olds through 8th graders are welcome.

children may go to the nursery)

Youth Group – for young people in grades six through
12, meets weekly for fellowship and fun.

E.F.M. (Education for Ministry) – is a Bible study and
theological reflection group which meets weekly.

St. James Parish Library – located in the Parish Hall,
with over 1000 volumes, periodicals, cassettes and videos, is staffed
by a group of volunteers.

the parish,
focuses on fellowship and service.

Barnabas Guild – provides and coordinates meals for
the parish
to share and provides meals open to the community for fellowship.

Prayer Circle – is made up of parishioners who pray
daily for particular needs and concerns of individuals.

Nursery – is provided for infants through
three-year-olds during the 10:30 service. Adult volunteers are
welcome.

Garden Committee – cares for and maintains the flower
gardens.

The Vestry – made up of elected members and wardens,
works with the clergy as the executive committee of the parish.

Stewardship Committee – supports the congregation in
identifying gifts and sharing of time, talent, and treasure in
thanksgiving for God’s blessings to us.
